The degree of coarseness or fineness of a powder is differentiated and expressed by reference to the nominal mesh aperture size of the sieves used.
The terms used in the classification of powders are:
A powder all particles of which pass through a 10 no. sieve and not more than 40% by weight through 44 no. sieve.
2. Moderately coarse powder (22/60):
A powder all particles of which pass through a 22 no. sieve and not more than 40% by weight through 44 no. sieve.
3. Moderately fine powder (44/85):
A powder all particles of which pass through a 44 no. sieve and not more than 40% by weight through a 85 no. sieve.
A powder all particles of which pass through a 85 no. sieve and not more than 40% by weight through a 120 no. sieve.
5. Very fine powder (120/350):

Power-actuated fastening tools were invented during the Second World War period for quicker repairing and reconstructing of the damages. They are commonly used today in the manufacture and construction. The main advantage of these tools is the ability to join hard substances materials (steel, concrete). But their functioning is not just powerful and effective, but also dangerous for the personnel working around
Power-actuated fastening tools are designed on a controlled, similar to the process of the firearm discharging, explosion created by small chemical propellant charge. Since these tools operate like a loaded gun, it is prescribed that only specially trained employers with the card verifying training must operate a power-actuated fastening tool (prescribed in the OSHA safety keeping in the USA).
The most common power-actuated fastening tool’s safety precautions require to wear safety goggles, use ear protection, not to allow bystanders gather around the working place, maintain good balance while working on ladders and scaffolds, never load the tool until ready to make fastening, not to point tool at somebody, keep it in a safe direction, not to place one’s hand in front of the barrel. Instead of training and keeping safety rules, the operator of the tools should test them before loading with the testing method recommended by the manufacturer each day. In the case of any defect detection or the poor tool working, it should be immediately removed from service.
In addition to previously mentioned operators’ safety rules, some safety measures are provided by the tools producers. It is a muzzle safety interlock. When the muzzle is not pressed to a surface with required force, it blocks the firing pin, and it does not reach the load to fire it. In this case, the gun does not discharge, and the nail becomes a projectile.
Besides protective mechanisms and the operators’ trainings of the proper tool usage, the work with power-actuated fastening tools requires constant personnel’s overcautiousness, alertness, and attention.Buy custom Powder-Actuated Fastening Tools essay Related essays

EDWARD F. FAY, OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO FOSTER, MERRIAM AND COMPANY, F MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, A CORPORATION OF CONNECTICUT.
Application led November 10, 1921. Serial No. 514,289.
To all whom iz? may concern:
Be it knoWn that I, EDWARD I". FAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Meriden, county of New Haven, State of Connecticut, have invented an Improvement in Casters, of which the following 1s a specification.
This invention relates to casters and has for an object to provide an improved means for securing the pintle in the socket.
It is also an object of the invention t0 provide securing means for the pintle which will allow easy insertion and removal of the pintle, but still will securely hold the same in the socket. Y
It is a further object of the invention to provide a device of this character which will be Simple inv -construction and, therefore, easy and cheap to manufacture.
Vith these and other objects in view I have `devised the construction illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which- Fig. 1 is a vertical section through the caster socket with the pintle therein shown in elevation, the outline of the horn and roller being shown in dotted lines.
Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the pintle and securing means removed from the socket.
Fig. 3 `is a perspective view of the securing sleeve, and
Fig. 4 isan end view thereof.
Reference numeral represents the leg of a piece of furniture recessed to receive the metal socket 11 adapted to receive the pintle 12 of acaster, this pintle being secured by any suitable means such as a flange 13 and a riveted over end 14, to the horn 15 carrying the wheel 16. The pintle is shown as rounded at its upper end 17 'to provide a top bearing a ainst the inner end of the recess in the soc et. This top bearing may, however, be provided by other means, if desired. The intermediate portion sleeve.
of the pintle within the socket isreduced in diameter at 18 to receive theretaining sleeve 19 and to provide a shoulder 18 This sleeve is a formed sleeve and is provided with a slot 2O at one side. The outside diameter is somewhat larger than the diameter of the socket so that when the the sleeve is compressed and, dueto its resiliency, it tends to expand and pressits outer surface against the inner surface of the socket. Thus it will be seen the caster is frictionally held in place, as the shoulder 18 coacts with the top of the sleeve toprevent vWithdrawal of the pintle from this The pintle isreduced suiiiciently at 18 to allow free lturning movement in the sleeve,
A caster comprising asocket member having a substantially cylindrical socket therein, a pintle reduced in diameter for they greater portion of its length to provide shoulders adjacent its inner and outer ends, a substantially cylindrical, resilient retaining sleeve embracing the reduced portion of the pintle and split longitudinally throughout its length and at one side only, said sleeve forming a bearing for the pintle throughout substantially its entire length and being normally of greater diameter than the socket so that when it is inserted inthe same it frictionally engages the walls of the socket, and said pintle being also provided with a top bearing in the sockety and a side bearing in the socket belou7 said sleeve.
In testimony whereof I aiiiX my signature.

Classification Essay Learn To Organize Information With A Classification Essay
A classification essay is an accumulation of information in a systematic and organized manner which readers could easily identify with. When you write any essay, you follow the standard norms of writing a good essay beginning with an introduction, followed by a body of several paragraphs, and finally a conclusion which summarizes the essay. When you classify information within your essay, it enables easy reading and connects a reader to the whole essay.
You begin writing classification essays by identifying the data you have to compile. It might be a lot of information you have gathered over the internet or through other sources. It is important now to configure and arrange it all in a way that would make it easy to understand this information condensed into an essay of approximately 500 words. This would normally be a difficult task if you do not classify the information you have into the relevant categories.
Refer to dissertation examples to get an idea of how to go about. It. As you go on to complete a rough draft of your essay using various essay topics, it becomes clear as to what is needed to explain to readers. Questions can be asked at various stages to get a drift of what is needed to compile your essay. It could be a custom dissertation or the topic could be given to your. Classification of data then eases understanding as you break your topic into sub topics. You write several points for the various sub topics and link them to each other as you wish to classify them.
When you attempt an A level coursework, formatting is usually done using the Modern Language Association (APA), American Psychological Association, or other styles or writing as specified by an educational system. It could differ depending on several factors including conditions applied to foreign students. The essence of accumulating data and then arranging it in a clear and formatted manner is what normally gets through to readers. These styles of writing establish an immediate rapport with students. When information based on these styles is further classified, the essay engages readers.
A law assignment demands organization. Imagine the application of law if it were not structured and classified into various categories. The sheer volume of information would be intimidating and would be impossible to refer to unless classified and indexed for proper and easy reference. Classification can be done in several ways. The law books have elaborate systems to index and differentiate between criminal law, legislation, and civil code of conduct.
When you raise essay questions about any issue, answers are usually available in print, via the internet or word of mouth. If information is classified, the answers are understood better. This is possible because classification is based on historical data or established patterns that can be seen and recognized well enough to fall into different categories. Without a pattern, any system would fail to meet its objective. Results would be random, and understanding would be a prerogative of a few. So when you write a classification essay. structure it for a larger audience, and you would find many happy readers waiting to hear more from you.
